Exposed from an early age to legal procedures, growing up in a family of lawyers, she became familiar with the mindset that behind the preparation of legal documents stand natural and legal persons who are entitled to a fair trial. Her academic background, as a graduate of the Hellenic-American College of Athens (graduating with 19.3/20), and holder of a Law degree from the European University with the distinction of “very good,” combined with her active social engagement, have allowed her to further strengthen her interest and ability in handling legal matters. She is fluent in English with specialization in legal terminology and has an excellent command of French.
During her four years of study, through daily attendance of courses, the preparation of numerous assignments on contemporary legal issues, the writing of her dissertation on “The Criminal Protection of the Environment,” and participation in specialized conferences, she acquired knowledge and skills that fully prepared her for the commencement of her legal traineeship. Her study and practical training, even during her student years, helped her develop and organize her legal reasoning—an element of decisive importance for the structure of legal documents as well as for complex legal research. She gained experience in matters of civil, commercial, and criminal law, with familiarity in court preparation procedures, legal evaluation of case files, and advisory legal practice.
As a member of the UNESCO team, she had the opportunity to expand her skills in rhetoric, argument formulation, and awareness of political affairs. In 2018, she attended courses at the Oxford Royale Academy on “Law Governing International Affairs and Human Rights.” She was awarded in the subject of “Human Rights,” receiving honorary distinctions in Politics and International Relations, as well as in “Political Representation in Greece.” She also participated in the “Athens–Melbourne Cooperation Group,” guiding young people of Greek descent—second-generation immigrants from Australia—in learning and practicing the Greek language.
